Systems Administrator
Requirements:
  • Responsible in systems administration for various clients; including servers, hardware, networks, operating systems, databases and applications.
  • Responsible in implementation, configuration, management, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, monitoring and development of policies and procedures.
  • To install, setup, administer and maintain systems and applications, including monitoring, performance tuning as well as systems resources and capacity planning.
  • To research, implement and manage backup, restoration and disaster recovery systems tailored to our customer's requirements.
  • Responsible for documenting systems configuration, routine audits of software, and generate ad-hoc and monthly reports.
Responsibilities:
  • Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms including Windows Server, Unix-Linux and Solaris.
  • Knowledgeable in shell scripting, Perl and PHP.
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams with changing priorities in a dynamic environment, resourceful, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Conversant in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is an added advantage.
  • Must possess own transport and be willing to travel.
